RIGGA is dedicated to producing works of art, design and architecture through an intensive hands-on studio practice. The collaboration between partners is based on the idea that pluralism and difference are advantages over singularity in the design process.

Our model is similar to the atelier. Ideas are generated and evolve through prototypes, models, mockups, and computer and handmade drawings. This direct making process reinforces an intimacy with the sensual and conceptual potential of materials.

Our research into other fields and disciplines is used to open up new potentials for art and architecture - an ethic of experimentalism pervades the studio.

The members of RIGGA are Ean Eldred, Richard Garfield, James Harrison, John Kashiwabara, and Peter Nylen.
